This self-proclaimed gastrocounter is the gastronomic equivalent of a second-, third-, and fourth-generation Cuban-American.
Tracy Ciardi
Steak sandwich had stale bread and a chunk of steak that was inedible. Not to mention how dry it was. Sevice was slow and we were the only table of 2 in the afternoon. Never again!
Pedro Komatsudani
Ambiance and food are great! Service is OK, two people for all tables not a good thing. Need to pay attention to how to serve: coffee spilled on plate, dirty coffee cups, spilled water on table, etc.
Miami New Times
Located in downtown Coral Gables, Bread + Butter serves modern Cuban cuisine.

Came in, nobody even acknowledged us. Finally found a spot at the bar and waited for another 20 minutes and was only given water with no other attention. Like previously stated, servers look lost.
Mike Martinez
Warm champaign...waiters look lost. 5 little croqueta balls $8. NEVER coming here again.
Pablo Arcuri
A very "le pain quoitidien" look and feel. The food is good but the service is terrible. Be prepared to wait! Extremely overpriced.

If children are here do not go! You won't be able to hear a thing.

The malanga poutine and the arroz con cerdo rock! I love the little cubanito touches like the tin cups. Fritas, pan con lechon are creative and totally awesome too!
Miami New Times
Best of Miami 2013- Best Pan Con Lechon: Bread and Butter. Incorporating Latin style food with American twists will have you trying new foods and loving them at the same time.
Raphael Gros
Amazing Cuban food. Ordered an unexpected Pan con lechon and really enjoyed it! Look and feel of the place is very New Yorker too.
Nathalie Chomon
Ordered a frita to-go. Took forever, and the couple that arrived AFTER us both got their food after us (I overheard the woman tell the waiter that she was in a hurry).
Joe Martinez
Try everything! Highlights: croquetas, empanadas, ropa vieja/medula, arroz frito ROCKS, so does the frita, etc., etc., etc. torrejas ok. Service ok too.
