Bourbon Steak DC
The main dining room is bright and noisy, the smaller annex cozier. Tables are covered in leather, and theres the whiff of money in the crowd of politicos, Georgetown old guard, & singles at the bar.
WINNER of our "Best of 2009" award for best fries - they're garlic-y and wonderful.
President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama celebrated their 20th anniversary in style at Bourbon Steak.
Sunday through Thursday during the month of February you can get quite the steal in its bar and lounge
Try the Lobster Corn Dogs
Steak is obviously the specialty at chef Michael Mina's restaurant in the Four Seasons, but the lounge is also home to a buzzed-about pork cupcake. You know you want one.
Try a refreshing Celerickey: hendricks gin, fresh limehouse-made ginger syrup, celery juice, served tall over ice. A great drink for spring.
Metrocurean recommends the off-menu hot dog special going on through August. For $7 you get a Red Apron hot dog and a pint of craft beer for $7 in the bar and lounge.
You don't have to like meat to warm up to the city's best steakhouse. While grilled beef is the centerpiece, chef John Critchley stocks his menu with all sorts of temptations from field and stream.
Great meet-up spot before night out. Polo players often spotted. Best bar nuts in DC, served warm. So good, consider refusing them. :)
Order the lamb burger. You can thank me later.
The burger is simple w/ Cabot cheddar, house-pickles & their secret sauce (think ketchup-mayo). It's good but pricey at $19. The duck fat fries and complimentary black truffle rolls are silly good.
Get the Truffle Mac n Cheese side dish. It's amazing.
