Whether you are looking for an activity to do with your family on a sunny summer day or are a serious baseball player looking for a place to practice, the following locations offer batting cages. Besides batting cages, many of them also have other activities like arcades or mini golf and for dessert, ice cream! Some also offer memberships for the frequent batting cage visitors or one-time tunnel rental fees.

Established in 1998, Baseball Unlimited provides options for a family looking for a fun day, up to a professional looking for a training facility. It offers classes and the opportunity to fine tune your hitting and pitching abilities within its 5,000-square-foot location. There are four hitting and pitching tunnels and three pitching mounds. Prices start at $30 for a half-hour visit to the batting cages up to $300 for a full membership.

You can't miss the orange dinosaur soaring above the mini golf course at the Route 1 Miniature Golf & Batting Cages in Saugus. There is not only an 18-hole miniature golf course, but there are also batting cages and an arcade. There are four batting cages, from 45 MPH up to 85+ speeds and prices are only $1 for 12 pitches. Finish your time with an ice cream at the Dairy Castle.

Extra Innings in Watertown has seven multi-use practice tunnels available. Each tunnel is 70 feet long, 15 feet wide and 20 feet high for the ultimate baseball experience. Guests can practice batting, pitching and fielding with prices starting at $25. You can take advantage of the batting cages all year long and Extra Innings even accepts walk-ins. It offers an adjustable Pitching Machine, L-Screen (for live batting practice or hand toss) and a Pitching Mound, and has options for individuals or options perfect for a team's pitching and hitting needs.

With locations in Easton, Middleton and Saugus, Golf Country offers an array of recreational activities for the whole family. The Middleton location offers a driving range and two 18-hole mini golf courses. There are nine different batting cages which have various speeds for hitting softball and baseballs. You receive 15 pitches per token and each token is only $1.50. Another highlight of the location is Richardson's Famous Ice Cream.

Mass Athletics LLC is a family owned and operated baseball training program with a location in Woburn. Since 2009, it has offered lessons in order to develop youth baseball players and prepare them for high school and college competitions. The facility offers baseball instruction to players of all ages and is home of The A's MetroWest and Greater Boston programs for ages eight through 18. It also offers batting cages starting at $25 for tunnel rentals for both single players or teams.
