Buffalo Chicken Skewers
The combination of chicken, Buffalo sauce, and blue cheese is one of the most classic ones out there, yet it's most frequently eaten in the traditional manner: Fry the chicken wings, toss them in wing sauce, and dunk them in blue cheese dressing. But there are still plenty of ways to get your Buffalo fix without having to bust out the deep-fryer. These Buffalo chicken skewers use ground chicken, which is much leaner than wings, mixes the sauce and blue cheese right into the mix, and gets a bake in the oven. Not only are they great for parties, they're also a whole lot less greasy than their bony bretheren! Click here to see 6 Easy Recipes Worth Shaking a Stick At.

pad thai sliders
Bring Thai flavors into your kitchens without investing in a collection of Asian spices only to use them once or twice. When preparing the sliders, feel free to experiment with different garnishes, but note that the sliders are very flavorful as prepared and novice cooks might want to start with the basics. — Vivian Doan, MyDailyFindChicago

San Choy Bow
I love so many Asian flavors and textures, and this dish is no exception. This recipe contains a blend of ground pork and chicken; alternatively, you could use all chicken, all pork, or all beef. (That said, I do prefer the flavor that’s derived from using half pork and half chicken.) The addition of shiitake mushrooms, water chestnuts, bean sprouts, and lettuce adds refreshing textural elements and enhances the dish’s flavor profile. This can also be served as an appetizer. — Chef Jason Roberts, Good Food Fast.

Smoked Mozzarella, Chicken, and Spinach Lasagna
Lasagna is one of those dishes that can be taken in lots of directions: You can stick with the traditional mixture of ground beef and mozzarella for a comforting trip down memory lane, or you can mix and match, swapping in different ingredients that can still come together in a comforting layered casserole, the result of a successful experiment.  For this lasagna, we swapped out the fresh mozzarella with smoked, and replaced ground beef with lean ground chicken. Dollops of goat cheese helped to give it creaminess, spinach helped break up the richness, and the chicken also helped to lighten it up. Instead of baking it in a large dish, we also used gratin dishes to separate it into individual portions.  Click here to see 6 Irresistible Lasagna Recipes Click here to see 101 Ways to Cook Chicken

Everyone serves wings for a football game, and while we certainly love any and all versions, we liked this recipe because it was a fun — and easy — twist on the favorite dish, and the Roquefort dip can’t be beat. We were also fans because this recipe appeased some of those chicken-bone haters (you know who you are), letting them enjoy a wing, too.

There has been growing popularity of meatballs and meatball restaurants nationwide over the past several months and experts are declaring bold, ethnic flavors as one of the biggest food trends for 2016 — namely Gochujang Sauce (pronounced Go-CHOO-jang), which they are hailing as the next Sriracha. Gochujang is the next, must-try sauce and Noodles & Company is the first national fast-casual restaurant concept to put it on its menu with the addition of new Korean BBQ.Imagine flavorful meatballs tossed with a sweet and spicy Korean-style Gochujang barbeque sauce — yum!

Mince Meat Cutlets
The Mince Meat Cutlet has been a staple of every Mangalorean household and is a much loved meal accompaniment and anytime snack. I have grown up tasting cutlets that were usually prepared for small gatherings or parties at home, and every grandma or mom would know how to whip up one in no time with the help of an apparatus which is the ancestor of today's food processor. All ingredients would go into the mincing machine and out came the mixture, ready to be fried into patties. The favorite of every child who steals one from the kitchen before dinner was announced and of course a great accompaniment for those high on spirits! See all appetizer recipes.
