Known as Baltimore's Biggest Beer Fest, Das Best Oktoberfest is returning to downtown Baltimore's M&T Bank Stadium for a second year. Held under large tents, Das Best Oktoberfest will take place on Saturday, October 11, rain or shine. At the event, patrons can sample a wide selection of international, domestic and local beer, wine and schnapps. As well as sampling beer, wine and schnapps, there will be a selection of Oompah bands as well as live music.

The Opening Tap Celebration for Baltimore Beer Week will take place during Das Best Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 11. The Baltimore Beer Week Opening Tap Celebration will occur in Parking Lot H of the M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore from noon until 2 p.m. The 6th Annual Baltimore Beer Week lasts from October 10 to October 19, 2014. This week-long event celebrates and promotes local beer in the Chesapeake region of Maryland.

Located in the historic Canton district of Baltimore, Manhaffey's is known as a beer bar that prides itself on rotating beer on tap each day, offering a large selection of import and micro brews and hand-pumping cask-conditioned beers. On October 18, in the words of the Manhaffey's management, "If you couldn't make it to Munich this year, then we have brought Munich to you!" Dress in your "finest dirndls and lederhosen" and prepare to drink German beers and eat delicious German food. Don't forget about the beer stein holding contest at 6 p.m.

Located in the Power Plant Live! building, Leinenkugel's Beer Garden offers customers over 30 specialty draft brews to try. Leinenkugel's Beer Garden kicks off a month-long celebration of Oktoberfest on September 17 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. The kickoff celebration will feature German music, a Leinie Fish Fry and a Miss Oktoberfest Contest.
