This year on Christmas Eve, the Providence menu is directly inspired by Chef Michael Cimarusti’s Grandmother Josephine and Great Grandmother Domnica. Providence, known for their multi-course seafood-centric tasting menus, will be offering guests the “Feast of the Seven Fishes,” which is a very special traditional southern Italian Christmas Eve dinner. By doing what Providence does best, the restaurant is offering a grand dinner and optional wine pairings to compliment the Squid Carbonara with percent and pepe nero; Lobster Ravioli with panache di verdure; Risottino All’onda with vongole and gamberetti; and for dessert, Struffoli, a Neapolitan dessert of small, deep fried dough balls.
