  • "You're so money & you don't even know it." You're on Swingers turf! This is where Trent encouraged Mike to meet the Starbucks waitress at the bar. Marty & Elayne still perform here nightly!
  • Get here early (by 9) to get a table...its worth it!!!
  • It can be tough to get in the front door on a Friday or Saturday night. If youre stuck waiting outside, use the back entrance off The Dresdens parking lot the line is usually shorter
  • At The Dresden Room you get a great discount when presenting the KCRW Fringe Benefits Card!
  • This location started serving Italian food as Puccis in 1934. Bookie Herman Byron bought it in 1940 and named it The Dresden Room after his penchant for Dresden brand wallpaper and dinnerware.
  • The fried artichoke hearts are good appetizers....and of course the steaks are good as well -
  • It's all about Marty and Elayne, they're getting old but they still know how to rock. Bartenders have been here since before Elvis died and so have the light fixtures but that's part of the appeal.
  • Technically it's Los Feliz but worth the trip to visit a historical landmark such as this.
  • see Marty and Elayne. Some things you have to see for yourself. two drink minimum last I was there, but no cover. Come early for a table
  • The Dresden opened in 1954, and its stunning, unchanged dining room will immediately remind you that Rat-Pack-dominated 50s was the coolest decade ever.

  • Live jazz in very dim spaces makes for great one on one conversations
  • Listen to iconic duo Marty and Elayne (of Swingers fame) at the Dresden Room, every Tuesday through Saturday from 9 p.m. - 1:15 a.m.
  • Cool scene, awful service
  • Don't request Great Balls of Fire! I did, it was denied, and I cried.
  • Come for the boozy drinks... skip the food.
  • "Dimly lit and old fashioned in the best sense, with brickwork, chandeliers, and a lounge, youll listen to jazz playing as youre waited on by friendly and accommodating staff at your booth or table.
  • Stepping into the Dresden is like walking into a time capsule, with Marty and Elayne providing the soundtrack. If you've seen the movie SWINGERS, you'll recognize the decor in a heartbeat.
