Foursquare Tips

  • a modern style bar that fits nicely into the historical landscape, with enough beer options to keep you busy(also a full bar). with plenty of room, bring your own drinking games, grab a table and play
  • Go Monday's for dollar burger night!
  • If you're into beer glasses, just ask the waiter for the selection. They have a bunch from local microbreweries and they'll sell them for around $3 each. On Tuesdays ("Steal the Glass" night), you can
  • So have like 5 beer choices ready before you order because chances are good they will be out of what you actually want.
  • The beer menu is huge and awesome. It includes over 300 beers, a lot of them from local breweries. Stick with the small glasses, try a bunch of them and don't forget an appetizer (or share an entree).
  • Monday is 2$ burger night - get a cheeseburger or bean burger, so both meat eaters & vegetarians can all enjoy! Just need to buy a drink to get the deal.
  • I love Monday night burger night $2 - vegetarians too! Best Black Bean Burgers ever! stay away from the sweet potato fries #addicting #fathom realty
  • If you don't drink beer, try the Appletini. Amazing!!!!!!
  • The place to be on Friday nights in fredericksburg, lots of girls.
  • This is the worst beer bar I have ever been to. Uneducated staff, except for a few bartenders(Dave). The food always sucks. Why do I keep coming here?
  • I love the capital ale house. It's a hip place to take friends when they come to visit. It doesn't hurt that they have every beer you could imagine!! Take your friends here & enjoy some pierogies!
  • Monday $2 burgers when you buy a drink! Can't beat that!
  • Make sure you have at least 3 beer choices in mind...because they're bound to be out of the first 2.
  • Its expensive beer for the collared shirt crowd.
  • Amazing beer selection. Try a Well's banana bread beer.
  • Try the Bison Organic Chocolate Stout from Calufornia!
  • Tuesday night is steal the glass night. Buy certain beers and take your glass home!
  • Could do better on Geuze availability.
  • Go to Cap Ale and get the stuffed pretzel, but ask for garlic mayo instead of dill mayo. Dip your fries in the garlic mayo and experience love. Pair with a dogfish head 60 minute IPA.
  • Beer selection is excellent although I wish there were more Belgian styles on tap. Just personal preference. Plenty of rare-ish beers though and large local draft selection.
