Banana Split


  •   banana, halved
  • 3 s  scoops ice cream*
  • 1 Tablespoon  chocolate syrup
  • 1  Tablespoon  chopped almonds
  •   maraschino cherry

Sometimes you just need a banana split — for dessert, or maybe for dinner, but more likely for breakfast. There's a banana, so it's healthy right? Of course. This recipe includes chopped almonds, chocolate syrup, and a maraschino cherry, but you can really use any toppings you want.

In a sundae cup or bowl, place the 2 banana slices. Then, between the slices, place the ice cream. Drizzle with the chocolate syrup and almonds. Top with a maraschino cherry. Pop in a rom-com and enjoy a banana split or five.


Note: Traditionally, banana splits have three different types of ice cream. A good way to cheat this is to buy neapolitan and scoop from each section.
