The Midi Skirt

A midi skirt is a skirt that falls somewhere between below the knee to a few inches above the ankle. If you can, picture the movie “Grease.” The midi marks the return to the ladylike days of the ’50s and works with practically any type of shoes or boots. Midis skirts are also great for any season in the calendar.

Layer Your Jewelry

Layering jewelry is a good way to make pieces fit into any trend. Take necklaces from your mother’s jewelry box and layer them with your own pieces in a fresh, unique way. The key is to find pieces with charms or necklaces in different lengths that can bring it all together. This is also a good way to incorporate jewelry of your own that may be dated but holds a sentimental meaning.

Hike Those Waists Up

Say goodbye to low-rise pants and jeans. High-waisted pants, shorts and jeans are back and will be sticking around for awhile. The “rise” in popularity can be attributed to the millennials, who never saw their mom wearing “mom” jeans. The stigma of high rise is only remembered by a group of people who are probably okay with wearing them now.

Raise The Top

Crop tops came back on the scene last spring and are gong to stick around a little longer. The most popular way to wear them is with a high-waisted midi skirt, just showing a little glimpse of skin. You can also wear them with a a regular rise, just make sure those abs are red carpet ready.

Make A Statement

Novelty and statement printed t-shirts are another trend that will be staying on through spring. These shirts let you show some personality or just be cheeky by telling people how you feel. Pick up a shirt by one of your favorite designers, shop on Etsy or find a website where you can create your own custom t-shirt.
