Apple Crisp Pizza

For the dough

  • pastry for a single-crust pizza

For the filling

  • 2/3 Cups  sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons  all-purpose flour
  • 1 Teaspoon  ground cinnamon
  • apples, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch slices

For the topping

  • 1/2  Cup  all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 Cup  packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 Cup  rolled oats
  • 1 Teaspoon  ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 Cup  butter, softened
  • 1/4 Cup  caramel ice cream topping or caramel apple dip
  •   Vanilla ice cream (optional)

For the dough

Roll out pastry to fit a 12-inch pizza pan; fold uner or flute the edges. 

For the filling

Combine the sugar, flour, and cinnamon into a bowl. Add apples and toss. Arrange the apples in a single layer in a circular pattern to competely cover pastry. 

For the topping

Combine the first 5 topping ingredients, sprinkle over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until apples are tender. Remove from the oven and immediately drizzle with caramel topping or dop. Serve with ice cream if desired.
