  • Nothing will ever beat Amoeba Hollywood, but this place is an acceptable substitute. Not nearly as big, but be patient in looking through the racks; there are hidden gems everywhere.

  • A must if you're in the East Bay. The one on Haight & Ashbury in San Francisco is my favorite, but Berkeley's Amoeba store is really great also.
  • Music outlet boasting huge variety of LPs and DVDs. If you're interested, bring your old and used discs to trade or sell.
