Cough Up Your Lunch Money, Seriously

City Harvest’s Skip Lunch Fight Hunger is a New York City-wide initiative that asks people to brown-bag it for one day a year and then donate the money that they would have spent on lunch to the organization. City Harvest calculated that with a mere $10,  the amount an average New Yorker spends on lunch, they can feed more than 43 hungry children.
