So & So’s

Dallas, TX 75204
(214) 393-6473

So & So’s boasts that it offers “something for everyone” at this “friendly, come-as-your-are bar.” The chef in the kitchen is well-known in the Dallas area and has an impressive list of stints at restaurants including Meddlesome Mother and Nobu. The bar, which used to be a popular Tex-Mex spot, features a tin ceiling, dark wood and some eclectic pieces. If you’re coming here for cocktails, you might want to try its ‘Such and Such Martini’ or the frozen blueberry mojito.

Henderson Tap House
2323 N. Henderson Ave.
Dallas, TX 75206

Although it is a tap house, don’t let the name fool you. While it definitely has a wide variety of beers on tap, including local and craft beers, it also has a great list of specialty cocktails. This 7,000-square-foot bar is a great place to watch your favorite sports team, but it is also a great place to enjoy a cocktail on the patio. There are daily food and drink specials. Vagabond Bar was voted D Magazine’s Best Bar Food for 2014. With live music every week, this bar is known for its great concerts. While most concert venues might offer basic bar bites or greasy snacks, Vagabond is perfect for enjoying a great meal (including cocktails) while listening to some local bands. The menu features seasonal flavors and the fall menu includes drinks like the ‘Pyrut Pumpkin Eater’ and and ‘Black Tea Fizz.’
