M-F HH 'til 7:30. 1/2 price select appetizers & $5 drinks. Relax in the Jazz lounge and enjoy the maple syrup braised rib sliders w/ fat fries.
The Bold Italic
The fried chicken is moist and crispy and gets an A for texture; the meat is full of flavor and has clearly been soaked or brined in something to get that flavor all the way through to the bone.

They have a great photo homage to the jazz era here in Fillmore. Old timer at the bar just said, "Hey I know that guy"

If they have the barbecued pork ribs, get them. Beware: they may assume you mean a full rack. A full rack WILL defeat you. In the tastiest way possible.
Jonathan M.
If you're particular about your Manhattans and Mint Juleps, this is the place for you. This is real soul in the Fillmore, Shrimp and Grits, Fried Chicken and Beignets... The way to do it.

I don't know why I haven't seen anyone mentioning the pork chop. It is divine. Coming from someone who is not crazy for pork.

Food is pretty good. Brunch portions a bit small, but entertainment is good! Note: entertainment fee of $6 per person for gospel brunch added to your bill (It says on the menu)
