12-Year-Old Miffed By 'Fake Doughnuts'

Featured on Buzzfeed this morning was a wonderful gem of an essay, reportedly written by a 12-year-old and presumably for school.

Titled "The Fake Doughnut," the author starts off with a rhetorical question (classic). "You know what I think is weird? Fake doughnuts, A.K.A. plain ones," the kid writes.

It seems a "real doughnut" only comes with flavors and types; a plain doughnut shouldn't be called a doughnut at all, the kid argues. "It's just a BAGEL! A BAGEL!"
