Foursquare Tips

  • If you like Bozu, this is from the same owner. French-Japanese influences like "terrines" called sukiyaki. Weird, sorta. But cool, sorta.
  • Friday and Saturday nights this place turns into a ramen bar from midnight to 2am. It's delicious and the perfect drunk food.
  • Sit at the sushi bar and let them feed you. Worth every penny
  • Wow!!! amazing sushi, and DO NOT miss the red miso soup with homemade tofu at the bottom. Sit at the bar!
  • the omakase here is fantastic (and has less expensive tiers with fewer courses). sit at the bar and order the sake with the buffalo on the label.
  • Best kept secret. amazing Japanese food!
  • The way to go is to have Omakase at the sushi bar with Kazu. He is the best.
  • It's fun crafting your own sushi rolls with avocado, tempura, cucumber and much more. All-in-all, sushi is fantastic. Atmosphere is cool, modern. Order the lychee martini, but make it a double.
  • Ramen after midnight
  • Becomes a late night ramen place.
  • Go for the omakase.
  • Our concierge Meghan at The Thompson LES recommends this dessert. The Shiso flan with plum sorbet is amazing.
  • The sukiyaki terrine is more terrine than ribeye -- don't let it make a fool out of you. Unless you like that sort of thing.
  • The shrimp gyoza are really really good.
  • Omakase with Kazuo = Sushi Heaven
  • Omakase. The Tasmanian salmon and mackerel are insane. Nevermind the chu toro & o toro. Add a little ball busting humor from the chef and I was in heaven
  • Omakase, duh.
  • Omakase is unbelievable. Top notch sushi in a secret chic spot.
  • Very cool, modern atmosphere, and awesome food. Great ceviche, sushi, and sashimi!
  • Whiskey, omakase, yellow tail collar, late night menu, oden during the winter, ramen, sushi box
