Experience

Regina entered food media in 2010 as a contributor to HuffPost Food, where she spent years interviewing famous chefs and traveling the globe searching for amazing culinary experiences. Gina also spent years as a judge for international pastry and barista competitions. She is the author of the Amazon best-seller "99 Things You Wish You Knew Before Going To Culinary School" and has contributed cover stories to numerous food magazines, including the prized industry publication Pastry Arts. She founded two publications, the website CulEpi and the eZine Food Activist, serving as editor-in-chief for both. She served as the managing editor of Disneyland Resort Magazine, where she penned the Dining and Sweet Spot columns. Here at Daily Meal, Gina is the training news editor, where she's responsible for training all our wonderful new writers. When she's not editing, writing, cooking, or baking, you'll find Gina riding her Arabian horse in the hills of Griffith Park in Los Angeles.

Education

At university, Regina studied logic and critical thinking, and she's currently studying horse training as a hobby.
