Celebrity chefs from across Switzerland will compete to see who creates the finest culinary creations during il Tavolo, from June 27 to July 1.
The five-day event, which kicks off at the Park Hyatt Zurich June 27, features a who’s who of Swiss chefs. One highlight will be the cooking duel between Heiko Nieder of The Dolder Grand’s two Michelin-starred The Restaurant and Michelin-starred chef Tanja Grandits of Restaurant Stucki on June 29. Diners get to sample each course twice, each featuring the same ingredients but interpreted differently by each chef. Both chefs will meet guests in the hotel’s bar after dinner.
Other events at the culinary festival include the Racing Chef on July 28, where foodies will have the chance to sample each course of a special menu cooked by different guest chefs, and a charity cooking event, led by The Dolder Grand’s executive chef Gion Fetz, where children cook for children in The Garden Restaurant on Friday June 29.
