  • Zums' never fails to please. My extended family has been coming here for over 40 years. We celebrate our births and honor those we have lost with a gathering at this neighborhood mainstay.

  • There's no better place to get a taste of the nabe's rich German heritage than at this Bavarian resto. Stammtisch serves all the schnitzel, sauerkraut and brats you can handle in a cozy pub setting.
  • Best of all, though, is an amazing take on steak tartare, deep-red and nearly fatless beef molded on bread points and garnished with capers and raw onions. And no egg!
  • so many great draft German beers, served in a Zum Stammtisch stoneware stein... don't waste your time on a Bud Light bottle! Prost!
  • If you want the Spaetzle you'll have to go there Tuesdays and Thursdays. Apparently there's limited availability on a traditional German side dish at this supposedly German establishment.
  • Excellent atmosphere, service A+, and must try goulash soup, prime rib, and veal jeagerschnitzel. Go go go.
  • Go for the Goulash Soup at the bar with a warm pretzel.
  • Omg the steak tar tar was amazing
  • Ask for a 2l steifel bier glas and Goulash Soup.
  • Pat the bartender, enough said.
  • Besides the authentic best German food around Zums serves up the best cheeseburger you will ever eay. Fresh meat and a well sized burger.
  • LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the goulash!
  • Potato pancakes are awesome. Nice selection of Beer. Appetizers are great. Staff is wonderful.
  • Jargerschnitzle red cabbage apple strudel was amazing
  • Large portions that you could easily splits especially if you want desert. Very good potato salad.
  • Must try! Share the portions. The sausages and jagger schnitzel are great. Everything on the menu is great.
  • A delightful taste of Germany. The Jagrschnitzel is great, with a rich mushroom gravy. Big steins of beer. Prepare to leave full, but check out the store next door.
  • Roast duck is delicious!
  • As a native German living in NYC, this place sated my stomach and soul. Service is friendly and the food is authentic and super tasty. For over an hour I was transported to my childhood and Germany.
