  • This cozy spot offers dishes such as Yebeg Aticha (lamb marinated with ginger and rosemary spices) and Zoma Tibs (cubed filet mignon pieces marinated in green peppers and red onions).
  • The combination platters are marvelously complex. The tej, an Ethiopian-style honey wine, is made by Brotherhood Winery in Washingtonville, N.Y., the oldest winery in the U.S. - Inspector

  • Elevated Ethiopian food matches the sleek environs at this uptown eatery, featuring a crisp white dining room, warmly lit by candles and an elegant chandelier.

  • Really flavorful and seasoned well. The samplers are a good way to go.
  • Some of the best Ethiopian food around! Try the Bozena Shiro
  • Ethiopian coffee is quite bitter, the sugar cubes were a critical need for its enjoyment. The big platter with bread and assorted foods is recommended, good for sharing.
  • The Jameson Uptown Ginger was awesome. The staff was great. The vegetarian combination dinner was delicious. I won't wait so long for my next visit. It's a must when you visit Harlem.
  • The tibs wett was delicious. Good portion to share
