  • Zerza has been an East Village favorite for 8 years. Owner Radouane serves family recipes from his native Morocco prepared by his mom, the restaurant's chef. She sources nearly all the food locally.
  • I lived in Morocco for a while and the food at Zerza is perfectly authentic...made me nostalgic!
  • Best baklava I've ever had!!!
  • perfect little date spot! dont forget the dessert - baklava is excellent
  • Hidden gem in the east village. Great private feel. Bring a date here for the atmosphere. I had a glass of wine and was impressed with the space.
  • Belly Dancer on Saturdays!
  • Been here eating for 2hrs and theres no heat. I dont get it
  • New menu features fantastic choices of small plates to share
  • Try the couscous and the mrouzia tajine. Happy hour from sunday to Thursday 4 to 7.
  • Chicken Bastilla, Couscous Royal and Duck Tagine.
  • Incredibly slow/indifferent service. Bathrooms appeared to be unheated and were not flushing due to frozen pipes. Food was okay, but not a good experience.
  • Chicken Tagine is delicious! The service sucks. Few and slow staff. Waited for dessert for more than 20 min and finally left without it.
  • Now serving Sangria!
  • Belly Dancer Friday & Saturday at 10pm!
  • The atmosphere is very relaxed and romantic. Order the lamb sausage with egg as an app, the meatball sausage and the chicken kebab!

  • Try chicken tangine here. It melts in your mouth
