  • Connecticut's best cure for seasonal affective disorder. The interior, light colored wood, linen and soft concrete, is exquisite. One of the country's most unique buildings.
  • Take elevator to the 4th floor to Start. That's where the British art is located. Then work your way downward.
  • I love the British Museum in London and this is a comparable miniature. Highly recommended.
  • Free admission. Great place for any Anglophile, there are plenty of portraits and landscapes from the restoration and regency periods. They have comfy couches to sit on.
  • Fantastic collection in a beautiful building by architect Louis Kahn.

  • Beautiful museum; right in the heart of downtown New Haven and also across the street from the Yale Art Gallery of you want a day of museums. Entrance is free!
  • Wonderful collection, the best outside Britain. Find the gallery with couches and the large sublime Stubbs.
