Tips

  • Score a baguette from nearby Orwasher's and fill it with Xi'an's cumin lamb for the best sandwich on the UES.
  • Delicious!! Go when they open to avoid a wait or go at an odd time.
  • One of those places you want to come back to try all the dishes. Simple Chinese street fare dishes with a delicious spicy oil. The noodles are here are very tasty.
  • Great to have in the area - love that they don't water the spice level down for the neighborhood either - I'm looking at you UWS location of HAN dynasty! - I digress - the lamb noodles are legit.
  • The cumin lamb noodles (ordered spicy) were delicious but I may take the spice down a notch next time. I love hot food but I wasn't expecting it to be this hot. Definitely helped to clear my sinuses!
  • High ratio of passive aggressive signs to customers. Almost everywhere you look.
  • Love xian famous foods. Noodles are great
  • The spicy lamb noodles are a must. I mean a little bit too spicy maybe but still amazingly delicious! Had the dumplings and this great Hitachino Japanese beer.
  • Happy this N. Chinese hand-pulled chain is part of the UES. Try their Spicy & Tingly Beef Noodle, the Oxtail Noodle & my fave are their Spicy & Sour Spinach Dumplings.
  • A lot of the meat had a good deal of gristle.
  • As always, a fine Xi'an experience with lamb noodles and the lamb burger. I get it with the hawberry tea though be warned that you may want milk instead for how spicy it is.
  • Pretty good for fast food. Pulled noodles of lamb and of pork had lots of flavor/cumin. Noodles were nice and chewy; meat was sparse but the lamb was good. Pork was off to me. 3.5/5
  • A1 and the dumpling are so good
  • Spicy lamb noodles are excellent
  • Pork burger was excellent.
  • The cumin lamb noodles are to die for
  • They have the best
  • Real good noodles. Addictive.
  • Pork bun and a salad was yummy
  • Must get the lamb dumpling soup. Unbelievably tasty.
