  • First it was Elaine's, now comes the Writing Room. A favorite stop for several celebs, make sure you done miss this fine place.
  • Gourmet food, attentive and friendly staff. Atmosphere is sophisticated without feeling stuffy. Decor is unique and very detailed. A great addition to the neighborhood.
  • Prepare yourself for the rolls before the meal, they will spoil your appetite if you let them. Also, service was fabulous. I'll be back.
  • 20% off drinks after 10pm!
  • Huckleberry cobbler is to die for!
  • Order the Indian goes down like juice. :). The fried chicken is also a great entree.
  • this is not your grandfather's Elaines. bar room is loud. main dining somewhat loud. back library is quiet. so far so good on the food. Try the roasted vegetables and gnocchi.
  • Friendly bar staff, great for early dinner and relaxation towards the right-side of the restaurant in the crescent booths...delish ribs app, bread rolls and fried chicken

  • Great new place. Micheal and Susi Glick the owners are great
  • the gnocchi is divine
  • Excellent "New" American cuisine! Great ambience, especially in the back room library complete with fireplace. Got there after work and by the time I left it was packed and buzzing. Highly recommend.
  • New ambiance for the UES.
  • Large space with tasty brunch (I was happy with the yogurt and a side of bacon!). Personable service and pretty family-friendly (strollers everywhere!).
  • Nice atmosphere, great service, inventive cocktail menu.
  • I was still hungry after eating the steak and eggs, but they were delicious!
  • Overwhelmed, whoa, did not expect the menu to be so fancy... but, solid options and decent meal (st Louis rib app was small, but mighty / kinda dry tho + Caesar salad was underdressed, but fair)
  • Amazing ambiance, dimly lit back room with a fireplace, fantastic food, drinks and service
