Woodinville Whiskey And Hollywood Tavern Come Together In Seattle

As Seattle Met reported, that Joshua Henderson's Hollywood Tavern will be getting a makeover as a cheeseburger and whiskey restaurant and when it joins together with Woodinville Whiskey Co.

The plan is to move the Woodinville Whisky to a new and bigger distillery that is being built around the historic tavern.

Co-founder Orlin Sorensen says that the new location will be more interactive and will offer three tours a day. It will let visitors come onto the production floor and see how the whiskey is made. A new 1,320-gallon pot still will be arriving from Germany in October. It will be the largest in the western U.S.

Hollywood Tavern will feature cheap beers, bar snacks, corn hole, a patio and a whiskey centric cocktail list by Maggie Savarino. Cheeseburgers and meats will also have an important spot on the menu. Chef Angie Roberts also plans on making her own soft serve ice cream by combining seasonal flavors such as huckleberry and crunchy toppings.

The distillery/restaurant combination is said to open in October of this year.
