Foursquare Tips

  • How this gourmet market will remain in biz with Whole Food moving down the block is anyone's guess. Many endure the long lines for divine hot sandwiches, aromatic coffee and the "Meusli" type cereals
  • Friendly and clean supermarket with a great selection of organic food, cheese and beer. They also carry the delicious Porto Rico coffee.
  • Smoothies gor $3!!! They also have specialty smoothies for $4.50.
  • Hit up the deli for awesome fish sandwiches.
  • So clean!! The line at the deli can get a tad long but worth the wait. The food is fresh and very well-priced.
  • Good mix of brand name and organic products. Great for grabbing a few items without going out of your way to get to Whole Foods or Fairway. Harem welcomes quality food.
  • Not there most useful selection of groceries, lots of expensive organic BS in place of staple foods. Beer selection is good and cheap tho
  • Great store! Healthy food, awesome sandwiches and coffee. Amazing prices and an independent business!
  • They've a good cheese selection. And don't get me started on the beer. Bravo.
  • Great coffee.
  • Best spot in Harlem for healthy sandwiches.
  • I guess you HAVE to be Caucasian to be spoken to like an intelligent human being. I have tried to BE EASY in this Establishment several times THE CHECK OUT CHILDREN HAVE SERIOUS ISSUES NOT NICE
  • Great place to grab a sandwich at the deli in the back.
  • The smoothies are made with real fruits and are totally cheap.
  • Food bar is definitely one of the best in the area. And relatively cheap. Try the spinach lasagna.

  • Get the #8 on Italian with Sun dried tomatoes!!! So good!!!
  • The spicy vegan chicken salad is amazing with the mini whole wheat pita pockets!!!
  • They just signed with a new distributor, more vegan goods coming Tuesday 8/23
  • I usually shop at Watkins near Lenox. As a vegan and harlemite of 8 years it's nice to also have this more corporate place to fill in the gaps.
