Foursquare Tips

  • Sit outside and enjoy the view with a beer.
  • I guess the views ok
  • Worst service I have ever had at a bar. If you stand in line for a beer, be ready for them to refuse you bc they didn't see u in line.
  • Pitcher of Solar Dog and a 6-pack of Oyster Shooters. 'Nuff said!
  • Great ambiance- meh food. It wasn't bad though. Had the captains platter deep fried. Too much breading! Try it grilled instead.
  • Skip it! Go somewhere else! Food was bad, wide clam chowder was like potato jello. Fish and chips were spongy, both the breading and the fish. The beer you can get anywhere. Just don't do it!
  • Great family place! Great food. Great service and wicked good beer!
  • Try the Elvis Burger! Yummm
  • Great food, drinks and a beautiful view of the river! Try sitting on the patio on a nice day, or warm up with a clam chowder bread bowl on those rainy Astorian days.
  • The jalapeno burger here is great, not too hot, not too tame. And ifx you're into that burn-your-face-off, oh-god-why-did-I-eat-that, check out the Atomic, aka The Astoria Assburner
  • The food was awesome here, the beer was great and our waitress was top notch !
  • We enjoyed the beer and wine and watching the sea lions in the river
  • Food was decent - nothing amazing. We did enjoy the stronger ales more but they aren't the best brewery in town. The Ichiban IPA is one of the better brews.
  • Hard cider
  • Beer is solid. Food is fine. Prices are better than other downtown Astoria eateries.
  • Clam chowder was delicious and the huge windows with a view to the bay was really nice. Great place!
  • The mac with brats is great, and they make their bread using a blonde ale!
  • The beer is lackluster. Skip.
  • Food good, beer good. Dogs on patio make it even better. Oyster shooters quite good.
  • Great view!
