Tips

  • The new brunch menu hits it hard with winners like the wood-oven fired Montreal-style bagel with salmon gravlax and labneh and the bloody mary with savory dill aquavit. Save room for bread pudding.
  • Clam dip and potato chips
  • Come for brunch, and reserve your table for dinner. It's that good. Get the clam dip any time of day. Andrew Knowlton's BA review was spot on. No detail was missed, the space is impeccably designed.
  • Mediterranean-inspired food like halibut crudo and wood-baked gigante beans in a whimsical, beautiful dining room that was nominated for a 2014 James Beard for restaurant design. [Eater 38 Member]
  • Westward serves a brunch menu item called "Greek Vaso". Order it! The granola in it is heavenly crack. Plus, it's gluten-free. Win and double win!
  • Fantastic Mediterranean food along with a spectacular lakeside location.
  • Outdoor fire pits, blankets, thermos of spiked apple cider, great views, oysters
  • Two top by the bar gets you a view of the sunset, a peek at all the weirdness in the decor, coziness of a private table, and shelter from the elements. You'll want to take your time with dinner here.
  • There were no tables available when we went, so my wife and I sat at the oyster bar. Turned out to be the best seats in the house. The oyster chef kept us entertained the entire time!
  • The service here is excellent, as is the food. I ordered the cauliflower soup and Spanish sardines, and got these donut things for desert....called "takamattes" or something like that
  • Get the squid
  • Nice seafood- oyster, fish and octopus! Nice cocktails too. Make sure you have a reservation, wait time could be very long.
  • Don't trust OpenTable. Try your luck without reservation, it won't disappoint.
  • If you have a boat, they have a dock!
  • This is one of those hidden gems that is worth the effort to get into. Beautiful views and amazing food. One of the best oyster bars in town with a cocktail list to match.
  • Oysters are amazing here.
  • Get here early to get a table with a view. Order the oysters, manila clam dip and the trout.
  • Sit at the oyster bar and order all the things. We went with four or five appetizers and smaller plates, plus a dozen oysters. Glutinous maybe, delicious yes.
  • Amazing patio
  • Bring a pair of sunglasses and show up earlier to make the best of your time
