It’s the grand opening of the Rothman Skate Rink at Dilworth Park this Friday, November 14th. Philly families can now enjoy outdoor public skating against the backdrop of our landmark City Hall. Adults $4, children 10 and under $3, skate rental $8.

Philadelphia’s oldest square, Franklin Square, is transformed into a magical holiday setting starting this weekend with the Electrical Spectacle holiday light show and more. Plus new this year, shop for handmade gifts at the Holiday Market and sample local beers and snacks in Ben’s Bites and Brews. Festivities are offered 4-8 p.m. daily. Entrance is free. Some attractions ticketed.

Don’t miss one of the oldest and most prestigious dog shows in the nation happening this weekend Saturday, November 15th and Sunday, November 16th at The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA. Enjoy over 175 breeds with over 1,500 dogs competing for “Best in Show” They are available for up close meet and greets too! Adults $14. Kids ages 7-12 $7. Free for kids 3 and younger.
