This Week’s Top Reviews From the Culinary Content Network
Each week, we tap into our vibrant network of bloggers across the country to find the top restaurant news and reviews. Here are this week’s:
In Denver, Culinary Connectors drops into Café/Bar and tries their "Spring Salad" of grilled asparagus, zucchini, pickled grapes, lentil, and arugula, topped with house-made green harissa yogurt sauce, as well as the funky-sounding banana zucchini fritter with a corn-coconut sauce.
Creole Contessa visited Novecento 900 in Las Vegas with the intention of just trying the margherita with pepperoni, but ended up liking it so much that she got a second one with sausage. She also took some drool-worthy photos.
Bella Vivere checked out Chai Pani in Decatur, Fla., which is focused on Indian street food. They got the sloppy Joe-inspired "Sloppy Jai," a spiced lamb hash simmered with tomatoes, ginger, and aromatic spices, all washed down with a house-made raspberry lime rickey.
Pop Bop Shop met up with a few friends and visited Spoke, a new wine bar in Boston. The food is all made up of small plates, and they tried some spreads, a beet salad, a couple of sandwiches, and pasta.
