Tips
- This NYC import ain't messin' around: It has a novella-length cocktail list and harvests its ice from 300-pound crystal blocks. That's the type ice sculptors use perfect for craft cocktail art.
- This is a BAR! Leave your babies and kids at home!
- Cool garden vibes and amazing cocktails. Order 'the old-fashioned.' This great spot was a Supper recommendation: http://supper.mx/places/weather-up-austin/
- Sit out back! The landscaping is beautiful and the atmosphere is great.
- Weatherup's goal is to showcase ice, which to her is the most important element in cocktails. She makes 300 pound block ice with a Clinebell ice maker meant for ice sculptors.
- Tiki nights on Monday!
- The New York cocktail spot's Austin outpost on the Eastside is a great place to grab a swanky drink.
- Trust your bartenders. They wont steer you wrong.
- The menu contains 108 classic cocktails. They're divided by spirit and subdivided into six preparations: on the rocks, shaken up, tall & cool, stirred up, served long, and fizzes, flips & sours.
- Don't care for the place. I give it 6 months. Decor is nothing great :(
- BEST ICE EVER!!
- Ask for Carolyn or Lucas and let them whip up something for you!
- Steve Robbins, bartender at Midnight Cowboy, likes the patio here, and the drinks.
- Prices for cocktails aren't listed, but most of them are $10.
- If you are a bourbon fan, the Satan cocktail is a great choice!
- Play the ice game with the water pitchers. If you don't know what this is, you'll never get it.
- Great cocktails but staff was apathetic as we sat at the bar. Doesn't quite compare to the location in Brooklyn.
- One of the best cocktail spots in Austin.
- it smells like sewers in back tbh
- 19th Century and Commodore are great choices.
