Watch Graham Elliot Sing “Take Me Out to the Ball Game”

Chef croons to Cubs fans at Wrigley Field

Decked out in Cubs gear and his signature glasses, Chef Graham Elliot serenaded the crowd at Wrigley Field last Sunday with a rousing rendition of “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” during the 7th inning stretch.

Elliot said last week that he was going to go “lounge singer style” with the performance, and he did, adding some of his own Sinatra-esque flourishes to the original version of the song. Unlike other Chicago-chefs-turned-singers, Elliot proved he could stay on-tempo, too.

As the grand finale to his performance, Elliot flung his hat into the crowd as a souvenir.

Elliot is not the only Chicago chef to sing the famous 7th inning stretch song. He joins Top Chef Stephanie Izard, who sang last year, and showed that while she is a great chef, her singing skills could use a little work.
