Tips

  • Get the Brussels sprouts. Don't be a dick.
  • I was a brunch atheist--I didn't believe in it and thought it was a waste of valuable sleeping hours. Then I had Walter's chicken & waffles. I am currently searching for an apartment on the block.
  • True neighborhood spot. Crowded and energetic even late on a Sunday night. Try the oysters, duck buns, beet salad and brussels with apples.
  • Best place to have brunch post-Saturday farmer's marketing at Fort Greene Park. Plus, even if you don't eat here, they have a very open bathroom policy.
  • Love the interior and service but the brunch didn't live up to the hype.
  • Make sure to drink the water they give you. It's not meant for you to take home to water your plants.
  • Tommy the bartender is the shit. Also order the Kale Caesar it's AMAZING!!!!
  • "This handsome Fort Greene neighborhood spot surprises with the variety and quality of its raw-bar selections. Platters include The Whitman ($45), which includes East Coast oysters, little neck..."
  • If it doesn't come with fries, order the goddam fries!
  • I'm really hoping they accidentally served me decaf all morning because the coffee was WEAK. The Huevos Rancheros were really good though, I would go again just for that.
  • Don't get the waiter with the dreads..
  • Do yourself a favor and do NOT miss the escarole salad.
  • Excellent cocktails by a fine bartending staff. Good food and a relaxed yet trendy and romantic vibe.
  • Great breakfast, great service, great music, FTW!
  • The salmon eggs benedict & french toast were delicious! My Bloody Mary was really good too :-)
  • Chicken & waffles+Sunday brunch= bliss!! Perfectly seasoned & cooked to perfection. Pair it with a Bloody Mary or champagne. Leave room for their desserts. Worth every penny.
  • Fried chicken
  • Terrible service.
  • great cocktails. nice bench with a view of the park (and street) to wait for your table on if the weather's nice.
  • Helles lager: quite good. Huevos rancheros also excellent. Good booze selection, nice if busy bartenders. Makes a good Aperol spritz. My go-to brunch.
