Tips

  • roof top terrace is fantastic
  • Rooftops are synonymous with day drinking, and the rooftop patio at Vin de Set offers some of the loveliest views of the city from its location in the old Centennial Malt House. http://bit.ly/17Hsn87
  • The bloody-mary bar offers plenty of goodies for customizing your drink: pickled vegetables, kimchi Brussels sprouts, olives, celery, carrots, shrimp, bacon and a variety of hot sauces.
  • The rooftop at Vin de Set alone is enough to get us there, but we stay for the 75 wines that pair so beautifully with its French cuisine. http://bit.ly/19AnCMQ
  • Try the Grilled Steak Tenderloin Medallions - Shallot bleu cheese butter, stuffed tomato & Yukon gold mashed potatoes. Those potato's ROCK!!!
  • Fries Taste Test: Our readers love the fries at Vin de Set.
  • Great ribeye. Great service. Thanks Charles!
  • 1 of the best brunch places in the city
  • Best patio in town! Little weird ab where u sit if u want drinks vs meal...but all the same.
  • Great wine list! Try the Benton Lane pinot noir.
  • Have drinks after work and then dinner. Loved their Merlot. Cheeses to try: Roquefort and Sage Derby.
  • Go to Vin de Set and try the escargot.
  • Salmon - Swiss chard, lentil-wild rice pilaf and charred scallion vinaigrette. #24hourfoodgeek Follow us at 24hourfoodgeek.wordpress.com
  • Escargot - garlic herb butter, white wine and purslane salad. #24hourfoodgeek Follow us at 24hourfoodgeek.wordpress.com
  • Best French food in St. Louis
  • Hmm, the vichyssoise was pretty good but it lacked fresh chives .... the prime rib crepe was tasty but very much like deli roast beef on a crepe. We were the only guests seated in the dining room.
  • Went for the oyster festival and the food and service were excellent. Dining and bar area reflect the old warehouse feel with a perfect touch of elegance. The over venues in same building are nice too
  • Head for the roof..
  • Nice beer list, excellent ambiance, unique layout with a dining loft. I had the citradopolis on tap which I can't wait to track down for more.
  • Eat on the rooftop for a great view of the arch and downtown. The French food is so good. I always have to take at least half of my food home so I can eat dessert. Definitely don't pass on dessert.
