Michelle Baker is a graduate of The Institute of Culinary Education and the author of Just a Pinch.
She has transferred her love of fashion into a passion for food, working with talented chefs like Missy Robbins, Jeremy McMillan, Jessica Wilson and Adam Nadel; she is now pursuing her dream career as a private chef. She likes to prepare simple food, and chooses farm fresh, local, grass fed, “organic” ingredients whenever possible. Though she doesn’t always buy from the farmers market, it is where she gets most of her inspiration. Oh, and in case you don’t have time to ask her; she idolizes Jamie Oliver for his ability to see for what it is and for his extraordinary revolution.
