Tips

  • The pumpkin pecan pie made me not miss the dairy at all. And I loved the coconut whipped cream. #vegan
  • Delicious vegan food in chill urban setting. Theres a beautifully lit basement seating are that can accommodate large groups. I recommend getting a fresh young coconut on a warm summer day.
  • The chick-un and waffles were the best!!! They also have stand-up shows every Monday evening (6-7:15pm) downstairs. Also check their IG for discounts.
  • 10/10 would recommend! super nice and attentive service! bring your non-vegan friends and convince them that plant-based is delic! highly recommend mac and cheese, seitan stake and mudcake
  • The seitan and gravy is unbelievable
  • Chicken and waffles are great!
  • excellent food and people for a good price. ask for the tacos
  • The Chick-un & Waffle is the stuff that my dreams are made of, with its mound of southern fried seitan and real maple syrup. The warm brownie a la mode is also phenomenal.
  • The chicken and waffles are the absolute best! I always think Ill try something new here, but continually reorder this dish. Its a must-have!
  • Ok vegan restaurant. Not too creative and the plates are small yet expensive. Food is pretty slow but the waitstaff is nice.
  • Some of my favorite vegan food in New York. The tacos are my favorite so far.
  • Fries are fantastic. Good music, good food, knowledgeable staff. Po boy was yummy!
  • The lasagna was amazing !!!
  • The seitan steak and gravy was so delicious! The peppercorn gravy was great and spicy.
  • The breakfast sandwich! Can't believe it's vegan. The shiitake bacon is seriously delicious.
  • With an innovative menu, UVK offers tasty, wholesome, plant-based food that uses locally-sourced ingredients, all without compromising the flavor to appeal to vegans and non-vegans alike.
  • Had the Po Boy. Fries were really good. Decor is AMAZING - we were seated in the basement.
  • Everything here is the best, but if you need somewhere to start get the tacos with buffalo seitan
  • Absolutely nothing to write home about, overpriced, overrated. $19 for the most boring Caesar salad ever, what a waste of money! Tasteless and made me feel sick afterwards. Never again...
  • Tasty tofu scramble. Prices are slightly high.
