  • "For a more refined experience, ask for the off-menu 5 Spice Duck Burger, a subtler but exceptional composition of ground breast and leg topped with chutney and roasted fennel."
  • Your to-eat list just got longer and more calorie-filled now that those evil geniuses have unveiled donut ice cream sandwiches made with goodness flown in directly from L.A. Creamery and Stan's Donuts
  • Get the Monte Cristo-inspired Burger, which consists of a custard soaked, deep-fried bun filled with Gruyere fondue. It comes with a side of maple syrup and a dusting of powdered sugar.
  • The Umami Burger is not worth the hype; try the Manly Burger instead.
  • All the best things come from the west coast but this first New York location has the exclusive Five Spice Duck Burger. Also try the "secret menu" cheesy tots.
  • The Umami original is a good burger. A great bun and fun toppings. No sauces required (which is good because they don't have Heinz). . Also do your table a favor and GET THE ONION RINGS
  • Caesar salad was surprisingly good. Cheesy tots (which are off the menu) should be shared. Sweet potato fries are non-greasy, yet crisp. Ask for the dipping sauces (you only get them on request).
  • #alltruffleeverything
  • Order "The Original" med. rare. The smash technique produces a crispy exterior and juicy inside. The parmesan crisp, shiitake mushroom, roasted tomato, & caramelized onions make every bite umami!
  • Everything they say about it being the same as ur 1st Shack experience is true. Prices are diff but so is the experience. The staff is on point & def takes care of its customers. Worth $40. Worth it.
  • They text you when your table is ready. Allows you to go to nearest watering hole to grab a drink or 4.
  • Yes please truffle burger.
  • The knives are pointy enough to draw blood, so don't challenge your date to impromptu fencing. Knife-fights seem okay, but I'll get back to you on that. Edit: not okay.
  • This place is delicious. And this is coming from someone who doesn't normally eat burgers!
  • Really good. The truffle fries are amazing
  • The hype is true. Like really good, as in the-first-time-I-had-shake-shack good.
  • If its your first time here definitely try the Truffle Burger. Also get an order of fries with their homemade ketchup.
  • Behold The Manly Burger- cheddar, bacon lardons, onion strings. I wish it came with a stack of postcards to send to all my friends and be like "Get on a plane and come get this burger now! Love, Alex"
  • Wifi password for guests is "cheesytots!" (Without the quotation marks)
