Tips

  • Tokyo's urban oasis is home to three museums, several shrines, a pond and a zoo. It's breathtaking during the spring Cherry Blossom season.
  • Go to "Kissako"! Kissako is a Japanese cafe in Ueno Park. If you like green tea, Pls order "cream anmitsu." Yammy:)
  • Make sure you don't miss the lotus pond! The view is just magnificent! You can see the large fishes from the side of the bridge, and sometimes of you're lucky also the Mandarin ducks, very pretty!

  • This park was established in 1924, its grounds were originally part of Kaneiji Temple, family temple of the ruling Tokugawa clan.

  • You can take a rest outside at this fountain in front of Tokyo National Museum. There has Starbucks and another coffee shop beside this fountain.
