  • The steak special is great
  • Chef Alex Raij, who runs 4-6 miles a few times a week, was featured in the Sept. '11 issue of FITNESS Magazine! Her culinary secret weapon? "Spanish paprika!"
  • It's not hard to find a tapas restaurant in Chelsea, but Txikito sets itself apart a bit with a more comfortable, warmer space than the rest and a menu focused on Basque food.
  • The green salty peppers are like Spanish edamame. Yummy! The lamb meatballs are in a light vinegery mint sauce. A must try!
  • Rodaballo and Cochinillo....nuff said
  • Get the suckling pig (if available). It's amazing.
  • get the txipiron "encebollado": squid ribbons. and then ask the 'tender for her favorites to fill the rest of your palate
  • Awesome Basque-style pintxos at this tiny Chelsea wine bar.
  • Figs and Ham...wow
  • Beef meatball with mashrooms was good if you like a little salty sandwich go for it.
  • that burger should have a monument erected in it's name. #twothumbsup
  • The worst use to $70.
  • Good food, but not the best ambiance and somewhat overpriced. The cider (although very good and a delicious basque specialty) is a disappointing ripoff, super small glass. Get the sangria instead
  • You can't go wrong with the specials, and the regular menu items are good too. The chocolate flan is very good, don't miss their desserts.
  • Txikito (& 50+ other eateries) will be sampling their fare at our 2013 Choice Eats tasting event on 3/19 - can't wait! http://ow.ly/h6OAc
  • Lamb meatballs a must! Leg of lamb with lemon sauce & white white passion fruit cocktails also great.
  • Don't spend your money here, better off going to Tia Pol on 10th ave.
  • Amazing food and drink. Get the ribbon squid. It's to die for.
  • If table for two and you plan on sharing tapas only order at least one more than you would at other tapas places (they are tiny)....but delic.
  • Whatever you order, make sure it includes the blistered peppers.
