  • Their menu has dead rabbits on it.
  • Not to miss: man about town cocktail, chicken pt, guilty fries, fried chicken, kale salad. Best desserts are salted caramel ice cream sandwich & sticky toffee pudding made by Pastry Chef Jared Nash!
  • Really good ice cubes here.
  • You must order the ice cream sandwich for dessert. The flavors change periodically. The one pictured is the Peanut Butter Toffee Ice Cream + Cinnamon Oatmeal Cookie. Delicious!
  • Free sparkling water!
  • The buttermilk fried chicken with green tomato chow chow is the way to go.
  • Get the Guilty Fries - they will absolve you of your sins.
  • Nice happy hour drinks menu (but I noticed the happy hour food menu is the *same* price as regular menu hmm). Tavern Burger is solid, satisfying. Great space and easy on the ears (low noise level).
  • Get the kale salad, fried chicken and for god's sake the hushpuppies. Ask the bartender what cocktail to get -- they know what they're talking about.
  • Only place I know to get a Linden Street Black Lager. Perfect beer for a chilly day.
  • The margaritas and the mai tai taste the same.
  • Get the guilty breakfast during brunch on a Sunday!
  • Paul Christensen's cocktail program has its own kitchen; drinks are ambitious: ingredients like black lime tincture, kumquat bitters, almond-milk foam, bourbon sous-vide with satsuma mandarins.
  • Vic's Fix is a great tribute to Trader Vic's original Mai Tai, but with an original twist (no pun intended). It's one of the top 10 cocktails I've ever had.
  • Stick with a local beer, they have a great selection.
  • Shrimp sandwich was great. Tavern fries are awesome. Great ambience and vibe
  • Lunch fare is tasty and alot of food
  • Good date, family, or business restraunt. Solid food and drinks at premium prices. Dim light & downtempo music make it feel lounge-like. For indecisive or entertaining people. Outdoor seating, too.
  • Great food For some reason our server refused to look anywhere in our direction when he was talking to us, which was weird. But the drinks made up for the bad service!
  • This is a really interesting bar as far as interior architecture is done. By the bathrooms you can see some more of the original design. Food and drinks are reasonably priced.
