Toronto's Best Food Trucks Slideshow

1. Buster’s Sea Cove

A mobile extension of the St. Lawrence Market seafood vendor, Buster's Sea Cove serves different food than what's on the traditional menu at the market. The truck is known for its lobster roll, fish tacos, as well as the occasional guest appearance from the market menu. They also serve a mean Key Lime pie.

2. Curbside Bliss Cupcakes

Curbside Bliss Cupcakes is Canada's first mobile gourmet cupcake kitchen. Their cupcakes (which are fresh-baked daily) are award-winningand come in a variety of flavors including banana cream, champagne, dulce de leche, and latte. We're eying the current flavor of the month: peanut butter and Nutella.

3. Gourmet Gringos

This truck features creative Latin (Argentinian, specifically) breakfast, lunch, "make your own," and dessert menus. Executive chef Arturo Gress Cardenas trained in Barcelona and has worked in Michelin-starred restaurants, as well as with some of Toronto's top chefs. Their "Gringos Poutine," or fries with your choice of meat, queso fresco, shortrib mole jus gravy, and guacamole, is a must.

5. Rome’n Chariot

Featuring Italian comfort food, Rome'n Chariot's menu is inspired by the owner's Italian grandmother's traditional cooking. The truck serves a "seasonally fresh" menu that includes appetizers, salads, soups, sliders, sandwiches, paninis, and pasta. We wouldn't mind trying their "Gladiator": two slices of breaded veal, eggplant, and Parmigiano cheese on an Italian Kaiser roll.
