Keep A Breast

Provenance Hotels has partnered with Keep A Breast, a global nonprofit breast cancer organization, to promote breast cancer awareness by featuring an original work of art from the Keep A Breast archive of breast casts. Each room at all hotels is stocked with Keep A Breast's magazine and educational self-exam cards, and each hotel is selling $4 "I Heart Boobies" bracelets at its front desk.

Provenance Hotels is also donating 10 percent of its room rates to Keep A Breast for rooms booked in October. Guests looking to buy cocktails can also give back. Order a Rose City Drop at the Driftwood Room at Hotel deLuxe, a cosmopolitan at the lobby bar at Hotel Murano, or at Pink Slip at Hotel Preston during the month of October and Provenance Hotels will donate $1 to Keep A Breast.

Making Strides EpiCUREan Campaign

Alain Ducasse's Parisian bistro Benoit is donating 50 percent of the proceeds from its pastry trolley, Pâtisseries Parisiennes, to the Making Strides EpiCUREan campaign throughout October. The pastry cart features pink-hued creations by pastry chef Jérôme Husson, including sweets like raspberry and vanilla macarons, rosewater religieuse, grapefruit pavlova, and a raspberry and pistachio tart.

Drink Pink

All the Four Seasons properties are donating proceeds from their Drink Pink cocktails. A portion of the proceeds from sales of the Four Seasons Hotel New York's $18 Pretty in Pinkcocktail, a mix of Brooklyn Gin, black currant liquor, Moët & Chandon Rosé, and muddled blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries, will be donated to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and 20 percent of total sales of the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles' trio of Paint the Town Pink cocktails will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The cocktails include the $25 LA Vie en Rose (Moët & Chandon Rosé Imperial, almond orgeat, and lychee syrup; the $16 Pink Ribbon (Kappa Pisco, cranberry juice, hibiscus infusion, Meyer lemon verbena, and lemongrass; and the $16 Booby Trap (Chambord Vodka, silver tequila, grapefruit shrub, and cranberry thyme tinctur).

Pink It in Paradise

Atlantis Resort, Paradise Island has launched Pink It in Paradise, a new active lifestyle campaign benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure that runs through July 2013. The Bahamas has the highest rate of inherited breast cancer in the world and as the largest private employer in The Bahamas, Atlantis Resort, Paradise Island is encouraging awareness and education about this cause. Guests can purchase Walk It, Create It and Rock It, an activity package that includes a Pink It in Paradise T-shirt, pedometer, beach-themed kirigami paper craft, and a rock climbing session at Climber's Rush. Guests who take part in the climb will receive a carabineer key chain.

Pink Spa

The Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., is supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a portion of massage proceeds from its Sawgrass Spa donated to The Donna Foundation, a local Jacksonville, Fla., organization that works with local women battling breast cancer. Spa treatments include the 50-minute pink grapefruit custom massage and the pink grapefruit scrub and full body massage, which includes a 25-minute scrub, Swiss shower, and a 50-minute massage.

Pink in October

Nantucket's White Elephant hotel is donating $1 for every room night booked in October to the Marla Ceeley Lamb Fund, a local charity benefiting Nantucket residents who need to travel off-island for cancer treatment. The hotel's Brant Point Grill, is cooking for a cause with a homemade $10 Shop Pink granola blend adorned with a twirl of pink ribbon. Some 50 percent of its proceeds are donated to the Marla Ceeley Lamb Fund. The hotel also participates in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Nantucketwalk.

Love Your Body with Food

Taking a cue from the hotel's new food philosophy "Food. Thoughtfully Sourced. Carefully Served," the Park Hyatt Toronto has partnered with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation's initiative for a future without breast cancer to launch a wellness campaign in October that bridges the connection between a healthier diet and the role it plays in decreasing the risk of breast cancer. Executive chef Joan Monfaredi has designed a Harvest Comfort menu available at the hotel's Stillwater Spa, roof lounge, and Annona Restaurant; a portion of the proceeds from each purchase will be donated to support those who have been affected by breast cancer. A portion of proceeds from the hotel's Sarah Richardson-designed Pink Suite as well as "Pink Purchase" made at Stillwater Spa will be donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

Pink Dessert

Executive chef Dakota Weiss of NineThirty at the W Los Angeles – Westwood has created a special $11 pink dessert, PINK Tahitian profiteroles, which is being served throughout October. The PINK Tahitian profiteroles dish is a sweet treat of profiteroles with Drunken Udder Pink Tahitian vanilla bean ice cream, strawberry pink peppercorn caramel, and lemon basil icing. Proceeds from the dessert will benefit the Revlon/UCLA Breast Center.

Living in Pink

For the month of October, the lobby of the Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown has been filled with pink flowers, the courtyard garden has been lit in pink hues, and the Lobby Lounge staff is wearing pink ties to serve a range of pink cocktails. The $12 pink cocktails include Collins for the Cure (Tanqueray Gin, freshly squeezed lime juice, and cranberry juice, topped with club soda), Tickled Pink (a champagne cocktail made with Moët & Chandon champagne and crème de cassis), and Pink Berry Mojito (Bacardi Rum, simple syrup, and muddled fresh raspberries, limes, and mint). Some 10 percent of the proceeds will be donated directly to Living in Pink

Going PINK!

The MODERN Honolulu is supporting breast cancer awareness by going PINK! with its MODERN BCA Pink Signature Cocktails (a portion of the sales from each cocktail ($2 from each) will be donated to support breast cancer research). Addiction Nightclub is serving $5 glasses of rosé champagne and $300 bottles of Veuve Clicquot yellow label rosé, with a portion of all Addiction's proceeds from the month of October donated to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation. For guests lounging poolside, The MODERN is passing around complementary PINK guava sorbet. The spa is featuring a Pink Berry Facial with a blend of strawberries, acai berries, and blueberries.

Pinky Ginger

The newly renovated Westin Gaslamp Quarter, San Diego is blushing pink at its Italian-bistro restaurant, Pinzimini, with its Pinky Ginger cocktail (Pinky vodka, Chambord black raspberry vodka, ginger beer, and fresh lemon) in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Some 50 percent of the proceeds from October's sales of the cocktail will be donated to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation. 

Breast Cancer Survivor’s Cruise

Travelers who want to sail for a cause can now book spaces for the Breast Cancer Survivor's Cruise to the Bahamas, which sails round-trip from Miami to the Bahamas March 25 to 29, 2013. The charity cruise is raising money for breast cancer patients and survivors. The cruise is hosted by Denise's Breast Cancer Survivor's Foundation, a nonprofit charitable organization founded this year and based in Stormville, N.Y. Guests will sail on Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Sky. The four-day cruise includes stops at Nassau, Grand Bahamas Island, and Great Stirrup Cay before returning to Miami.
