The Landings St. Lucia Opens Turquoise Beach Bar

Nothing pairs with a beachfront view better than a great drink, and guests of The Landings St. Lucia will be able to enjoy the best of both worlds at the recently opened Turquoise Beach Bar.

Just a few steps away from the resort's private beach, the bar is its own private oasis. Guests can enjoy sweeping ocean views and gentle breezes as they down rum, beer, wine, and other liquors. One highlight here is the specialty, handcrafted mixed drinks. Bar-goers can look forward to creations like the Passiontini — a sugary and tropical blend of rum, ginger, lime juice, passion fruit, juic,e and sugar  — or the slightly stronger Planters Punch — a concoction of dark and white rum, orange, grenadine, pineapple, and lime juice. Many are made with locally sourced ingredients.

One true highlight here is the bar's signature Sweet Euphoria. Each bartender makes his or her own version of this beverage, a mixture of vodka, mixes, and garnishes. The staff doesn't share their recipes with one another, so guests are guaranteed to try a unique drink each and every time they order one.

On Fridays, guests can even enjoy barbeque specials from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m along with live tunes courtesy of guitarist Ronald "Boo" Hinkson who performs from 6 to 8 p.m.
