Foursquare Tips

  • Towne Stove and Spirits has been hit or miss for us, but it's a total scene, and the pedigree here -- with culinary director Lydia Shire at the helm -- makes it hard not to go back for another shot.
  • Lobster Popovers. If for no other reason, go for lobster popovers.
  • Mike & Ericka rock this house!!!! And don't ever fucking forget it. Love
  • Cougar bar.

  • Flat soda.
  • Favorite place to grab a after work drink.
  • Bacon-lovers, they have a cocktail just for you Back Baycon Manhattan!
  • Keep it classy or come casual. "Choose-your-own-vibe" dining areas at Towne are all about comfort food + drinks but we say go for an old fashioned cocktail -vodka'd Gypsy Dancer, anyone?
  • The lobster/corn pizza is awesome.
  • I highly recommend the sangria and the French fried potatoes with their homemade ketchup!
  • Order the Peloponnese cocktail. Metaxa, lychee syrup and ginger beer. Delicious!
  • The first-ever restaurant in the Hynes Convention Center. It's big (300 seats indoors, 80 on the patio), bold (with a long, globetrotting menu), & destined to draw tourists & locals alike.
  • For summer refreshment, try the Sandia: Watermelon chunks dissolve into a light, refreshing cocktail.
  • The service here is a joke.
  • Don't forget the LOBSTER popovers!

  • These folks have a generous pouring policy.
