Thrillseekers Climbing Gym has been one of the best places in Denver to try your hand at indoor rock climbing in the Denver area since 1992. As one of the oldest and most established gyms of its kind in the area, you'll find lots of great equipment to try out and plenty of knowledgeable staff to guide you on your climb. With two locations in the Denver area, Rock'n & Jam'n is one of the largest established indoor rock climbing gyms in the area. The first location in Centennial opened in 2004 and has been offering great climbing instruction and fun for a decade. You'll find lots of very steep climbing walls to try out as well as plenty of bouldering and lead climbing options. All of the walls are fully adjustable and you can get plenty of hands-on and helpful instruction for your climb. Those who are new to rock climbing or bouldering will want to start with the Introductory Class, which will teach you everything you need to know about the safety of rock climbing. Bouldering is just like rock climbing, except you are working on large free-standing boulders instead of vertical walls. Since 2002, The Spot Bouldering Gym was the first gym dedicated to the practice of bouldering in the country. Inside this facility you'll find more than 15,000 square feet of surface with two huge freestanding boulders and four bouldering walls. Plus many of the features are themed after real areas to give you practice that relates to what you'll find in the outside world. There is the Colorado River Granite Wall, the Yosemite Wall, The Front and Hueco Boulder in addition to many more. The Spot also offers free workshops for its members that cover all of the skills and strengths needed to get better at the sport of bouldering.

The Boulder Rock Club opened its doors in 1991 and was one of the first indoor climbing gyms of its kind in the country. There are more than 200 different routes to take when you climb the walls here, with different routes set every few days, so you'll never tackle the same one twice. If you are very new, you'll want to take the Introductory Course or the Belay Class to learn the basics of how to work with the ropes safely, but if you just want to drop by, you can jump in and get some help from the knowledgeable staff. There are also lots of other great classes here for both adults and children, including a special course for women climbers, taught by women climbers.
