Time Out Group announced the launch of Time Out Los Angeles (TOLA) today after a successful April re-launch of the Time Out New York website. Catering to on-the-go Angelenos, they’re looking to be the definitive source for things to do in Los Angeles by featuring arts, entertainment, and cultural events around the city. In addition, TOLA will also allow users to buy tickets, make reservations, and receive exclusive offers, all from within the website.
As befits the brand, TOLA will offer ultra-specific neighborhood coverage as well. "Time Out's editors and contributors are really dialed into LA's food, art, style, shopping, music, and entertainment scenes, which means we can provide readers with a much more curated perspective of the most fun and interesting things to do in LA," says editor Lisa Sweetingham.
While the website is already live, a free iPhone app is in the works and scheduled to be released later this month.
