Tips

  • Very trendy
  • Kevin's Mom's lemon bar. Do it.
  • Kevin and Alex Pemoulie are serving inventive and all-around delicious New American food in Jersey City right now. If you hop on the Path Train, you're guaranteed to be charmed. [Eater 38 Member]
  • Kevin Pemoulie (former chef de cuisine at Momofuku Noodle Bar and sous chef at Craft Bar) opened his own restaurant on Friday in Jersey City. The menu will be seasonal and "Jersey-focused."
  • fluke appetizer is light, refreshing, and tasty with a hit of brine & heat
  • Thirty Acres (& 50+ other eateries) will be sampling their fare at our 2013 Choice Eats tasting event on 3/19 - can't wait! http://ow.ly/h6OAc
  • If you are coming for dinner. Make sure you are here when the restaurant opens at 6pm. The food. Anything and everything on the menu is AMAZING. Marvin will make your dinning experience.
  • Order the entire menu. Thank me later.
  • Amazing fried corn gnocchi - it's like Italian tater tots.
  • The chilled squid appetizer was delicious and Kevin's moms lemon bar was perfect to split between a group of 6 of us.
  • Great table, but food was overpriced and mediocre.
  • Must get the baby octopus, arctic char, and poussin. Amazing. Menu changes every 2-3 weeks.
  • The dijon pickled-red cabbage corn-beef appetizer is insanely good!
  • As of last month, they only offer a $75 p.p. tasting menu, but you can still order small la carte dishes at the bar.
  • Thirty Acres now solely offers a 5-course, $75 tasting menu. Adjustments can be made for vegetarians, and dishes like the 40-day aged Rib Eye and the Celery Root Cappelletti are superb.
  • Uni in Brussels sprout leaves. So smart!
  • Lemon. Bars. They are a must. Hamachi and Pork Neck are also great. But if you didn't have the lemon bar, you did it wrong.
  • Squid ink pastas are NOT a date food. You'll look like a necrophage. You're welcome.
  • Wow, this place is legit. I can't tell you what to order because the menu's always changing, but we had a duck sausage gnocchi that I'll be dreaming about for weeks. Everything we had was outstanding.
  • Poussin with broccoli and in a spicy lobster broth. Recommended.
