Foursquare Tips

  • My personal favorite is a carne asada and chorizo burrito with cheese and hot sauce. Grilled to perfection and accompanied by a lime Jarritos. Never disappoints.
  • Cash only!
  • Get the ceviche tostada before they run out for the day!
  • This place does a great classic burrito. Get something with pork, or at least some type of meat-then you'll really taste the difference.
  • This place is not good. Dry and bland burritos.
  • Best burrito in San Francisco. Yes, better than the place you are thinking of.
  • SF Weeklys Best Of 2011 Winner Editorial Pick BEST CLASSIC BURITTOBare-bones taqueria still prices its basic burritos at $5 and the balance of beans to meat to rice is perfect!
  • Find out if they have good burritos.
  • Fish tacos with grilled onions and bell peppers will not disappoint! Pro tip: order the salsa on the side.
  • Tacos! Super tacos sure hits the spot here.
  • Damn the carnitas were super good. Did not expect such delicious juiciness.
  • It's back! This was pnce my favorite taqueria, but after a disappointing visit last year I fogured they'd lost the magic. But I just gave the Al Pastor super burrito another try and it was fantastic!
  • In my opinion, the best taqueria in the mission. The chorizo burrito is amazing, as is their green sauce.
  • Al pastor burrito is really good. Chill vibe.
  • Go if hours to miss the new crowds. And the CHICKEN burrito is the thing to get.
  • **Major Price Increase* February 23 2015 they will increase their prices a lot based on a new lease that has big increase in rent costs. Sad.
  • Garbage. Just a salty rice and bean heavy burrito, in a saggy tortilla.
  • If you're a fan of carnitas, look no further than this place. It's tender, chunky, well seasoned, totally sublime, and at $2 we're ready to call this place the poor man's Nopalito.
  • Al pastor is in my top 5 super burritos for sure. Cheese is great.
  • Cold doggie nachos. Not good. Go to El Metate.
