Tips

  • Try the Birria de Res taco, the beef simmers with dried guajillo peppers & avocado leaf for three hours, until the meat is tender & infused with aromatics. It's one of NYC's 26 best tacos!
  • Try the Tacos - Spicy pork taco is a win in this place. Plenty of other tasty tacos to try as well.
  • The cemita is the more robust and complex cousin of the torta. The seeded buns are stuffed with meat, mozzarella-like Mexican cheese, avocado, lettuce and tomato, refried beans and smoky chipotle.
  • Best salsa I have ever tasted!!
  • Undoubtedly the best Mexican food in Queens. Order anything and you'll be content. The salsa verde is where it's at.
  • If the enormous, rotating slab of meat sizzling in the window doesn't convince you to order the al pastor, opt for the tripe or just a simple vegetarian filling.
  • qu rico todo!
  • The meatiest (and arguably the best) lengua tacos in Queens.
  • Let the music blast while you chow down on some seriously tasty tacos. Al pastor are simmered in some kind of delicious sauce, topped off with guac. $5 beers. I'll be back!
  • The real deal.
  • Not the best service, but some of the best down and dirty Mexican food you can get in NY. Haven't had a bad dish.
  • The carnitas tacos will change your life
  • Try the cemita de pierna. Or if you're in a taco mood, the carnitas.
  • Tacos. Cemitas are too filling IMO.
  • Excellent mol, oreja tacos, and tamale salad
  • Tacos all day!
  • Tacos are still the heart of the enterprise, rolled into cones in tissue paper, presented with a wallop of thick guacamole. Spice-rubbed shrimp tacos are a little more expensive, but well worth it.
  • Best chilaquiles so far...
  • Leave tee rest and get the beef marinade tack
  • Holy chalupas! Big portions, great flavors. Leave here full or with leftovers for another day.
